Hair loss is a fact that affects men and women of all ages. It occurs due to genetic factors (heredity) as well as to environmental and psychological factors. The stress caused to people suffering from hair loss often contributes to its further spread.

    Valid Genetical Test

In addition to the trichoscopic assessment and diagnosis of alopecia, at Starks centers we recommend to our patients to perform the Trichotest® genetic hair loss test. This is a worldwide certified test that detects 48 different mutations in 13 different genes that are responsible for alopecia.

The procedure is completely painless and takes less than 5 minutes as it is done with saliva collection with a special kit. This is sent to Fagron’s® laboratories in Spain. The patient receives the results within 15 days.

    Why do the test?

Because its results are 99.9% accurate

Because it allows the medical team to fully customize the treatment plan

Because with this test the medical team can combine hair transplantation with non-invasive treatments that best respond to each patient's condition

Because it saves patients the trouble but also money from ineffective treatments

What you will learn after checking

What are the best medicines that are the best for you

What substances are considered ineffective for you

What are the substances that can cause side effects

Lack of minerals and trace elements and how they have affected the health of your hair follicles

Genetical Hair Loss Evaluation is available in all of our centers.
