In 2005, he continued his specialisation in Dermatology at the University Hospital of Patras.

In 2009, he successfully passed his examinations, excelling and obtaining the title of Dermatology-Venereology. Immediately afterwards, he started working as a curator for the 'Thriasio' Hospital in Athens, where he remained until 2012. Dr. Liosis was a Research Fellow at the 'Andreas Syggros' Dermatological Hospital, where he specialised in the treatment of scalp diseases and mainly alopecia.

In 2012, he started working in the field of hair transplantation after being the scientific director of the DHI Medical Group.

Since 2012, he has performed more than 3000 cases throughout Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Morocco, while performing the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method with great success.

Since 2009, Dr. Liosis has great specialisation and experience in hair diseases, while performing diagnostic hair examinations and hair rhizogram in order to implement the appropriate treatment plan.

He performs PRP treatment for the treatment of alopecia and applies a special protocol with injectable vitamins, amino acids and peptides for the successful treatment of all types of alopecia.

Aesthetic and clinical dermatology
Dr Liosis Georgios carries out a certified application of Co2 Fractional laser treatments for anti-ageing but also for the treatment of dyschromia and wrinkles. He has recently focused on botulinum toxin treatments, fillers and traction threads.

He is the father of two children. He speaks fluent English, French and Italian while his mother tongue is Greek.

He regularly participates in conferences in Greece and Europe and has appeared in numerous presentations and announcements at workshops and conferences.

Began in 2015 to enter the world of Hair Transplantation as an intervention organiser in a modern Spanish team, becoming increasingly interested in the Fue Technique. She continued and broadened her knowledge and skills during her collaboration with Professor Vincenzo Gambino when, after graduating in nursing, she gained a great deal of experience with the FUT and FUE techniques, actively participating in around 700 operations.

She then moved to Spain to consolidate the skills she had acquired in baldness surgery by collaborating with prestigious clinics and internationally recognised professionals, as well as entering into dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She successfully coordinates, leads and manages the team and, once the experience is over, returns to Italy.

Internationally recognised as an expert and prepared assistant, she is chosen by many to teach nursing techniques in the surgical field to teams wishing to start training in both the FUE and FUT techniques, adapting them to the most modern standards of microsurgery.

In STARKS since 2020, she obtains surprising results on the assistance procedure by developing a pre- and post-operative protocol that is able to reduce the convalescence time to only 3 days, thanks to the new Fue DHI Technique. She implements the latest techniques, takes particular care to keep up to date so as to be able to offer her patients the latest acquisitions of the international scientific community in the surgical field, dedicating herself solely to Hair Transplantation and making it her passion.

She completes her Master's degree in Tricopigmentation and Medical Dermopigmentation, obtaining excellent results, thus giving patients completeness and professionalism in all their needs.

In 1999, he received his medical degree from the University of Perugia . After graduating, Dr. De Gregorio continued to attend the School of Specialisation in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for another two years as a volunteer doctor.

In 2000 he started working in a Private Clinic in Perugia where he finished his surgical training in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department, implementing his surgical training with General Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery and Phlebological Surgery. In the period 2005-2007 he attended the 2nd level Master's Degree Course in Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine, director Prof. N. Scuderi, at the University of San Marino. From 2007 to 2008 he worked at the clinics of an international Aesthetic Surgery company "Corporacion Dermoestetica", first as a consultant surgeon and later as scientific director . During this period, he also served as an expert surgeon trainer for some of the company's young surgeons and doctors.
In 2009, he took on teaching duties within the Master's Degree Course in Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery Level II at the University of San Marino.

He currently works as a freelancer at various clinics accredited with the SSN.

After graduating, Dr. De Gregorio continued his training and continued to implement advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, the areas he had always wanted to work in, with various internships at foreign universities and participating in training courses on cadavers at the University of Lyon and Vienna, at the Clinic of Prof J. Planas in Barcelona, the Villabella Clinic of Dr G. Botti, and the PR Clinic of Prof P. Rosati.
His areas of study and training have been fully recognised by the Medical Association of Perugia, with authorisation No. 3403 in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and by the Court of Perugia, with registration No. 2976/05, where he works as a Technical Consultant and Technical Expert.

After several years working in various clinics, he took the decision to start his own freelance activity and to inaugurate his private practice, which in 2007 became a reality allowing him to focus on his area of specialisation: cosmetic surgery.

I began my undergraduate studies at the University of Trento, Italy and then completed my degree at the University of North London, UK. I subsequently completed my Masters at the London Metropolitan University, UK.

I have extensive experience in the hair restoration industry having worked as a Consultant in Europe since 2008. I have been involved in the set-up of new clinics, developed tailored patient education and treatment programs based on cutting edge technology and coordinating the recruitment of medical specialists. During this time I have worked with medical experts who have refined the minimally invasive Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) surgery.

I enjoy travelling and have been fortunate enough to have worked in clinics across Europe, exposing myself to a diverse range of people and cultures. This has given me a more open perspective to the patients’ needs and understanding of any cultural bias or prejudice as a result of their hair loss.

Hair loss is a very sensitive issue and previously a very secretive or embarrassing problem that was not always shared. In recent years it has become a more openly discussed topic due to high profile celebrities documenting their hair loss experience in the media. We must also remember that hair loss is not specifically a male issue but can cause both physical and psychological problems for women also.

I had a hair transplant myself in 2019 to restore my thinning areas. This experience has given me an insight into the patient journey and their decision making process for treatment. I believe it is important that experts or doctors manage patient expectations, give a true and honest evaluation of what the treatment can achieve and provide appropriate after care.
